Sony Xperia-E Price: Rs.16,999
Specification:
Sony Xperia E is one of the two variants of this series of
smartphones by Sony. The second variant is the Sony Xepria E dual. The
major difference between these two cell phones is that the latter offers
the dual sim feature. Other than that, the rest of the features are the
same.
This cell phone has just been announced recently and is due to be
released soon. It will be available in the market at a low cost.
Therefore, one of its favorable features is its affordability. However,
will the users have to face a compromise regarding some of its features?
Has Sony succeeded in producing a great cell phone with excellent
features at a low cost? Unfortunately, the answer to the second question
is a “no”, while the answer to the first question is affirmative. Starting off with its touch screen, hardly any user today would settle for a small touch screen with a low resolution and a poor display. Sadly, Sony Xperia E has all of these three undesirable features. It has a comparatively small touch screen with a size of merely 3.5 inches in a market where 4.0 inches has become the standard! Moreover, a display of 256K colors is highly disappointing. The world is moving towards better and better. But, it seems like Sony is moving backwards. By carrying out an analysis of its camera, we can conclude that having a 3.15 MP in a market where the counterparts are offering 5.0 MP cameras might not be that bad; one can settle for it. However, what we cannot compromise with is the lack of important camera features. Some of the very basic camera features, such as flash are missed badly. Similarly, without some of the other necessary features like auto focus lens, the picture results can hardly be appreciable. The indoor and night time pictures are particularly going to be extremely disappointing. There is, however, one little ray of light for those who are hoping to buy it and want to find at least some good points regarding this smart phone. Unlike its dual-sim variant, it has a slightly broader color range. The Sony Xperia E is also available in a pink color. However, the overall body is still the black. But the combination of pink color with black looks really chic. The operating system is also appreciable. This smart phone runs on the latest Android operating system version 4.1, also known as JellyBean. Features: |
